Recently E-40 sat down with where he talked the case that's taken the U.S, by storm, the killing of 17 year old Trayvon Martin. In the interview E-40 speaks about attending a recent march for Trayvon. When asked of  his reaction to Trayvon's murder he replied, "I thought it was foul, he was so young, man."

Of the march, which E-40 attended in New York, he talked about the various races that were in attendance
"You've gotta stand for something. There were all kinds of people marching. White, Black, Filipino, whatever. People were saying, 'You know what? Something needs to be done about this.'"

Being a parent of young black men, 40 closes out the interview with sharing with us what he tells his kids about the adversity black men have to face:
"Don't pay attention to negative people who are talking in your ear," he said. "A lot of people will say something negative to you just to get you to say something negative back. Misery loves company."

Check out the next video on the stream where 40 talk about mastering being an Indie Artist.
